Mission of Agency:
HNS works to stabilize households and prevent further crises through the provision of basic need services for people that are challenged by the effects of poverty or situational crisis.
The programs at HNS encourage self-sufficiency and self-reliance by helping individuals and families to access resources available in the community. By providing a multitude of basic services in one location (the Life Center), there is a greater opportunity to access valuable resources.
HNS was founded in 1961 in Loveland and opened a second location in Berthoud in 1989 with the united vision to faithfully serve the people in these adjacent communities.
